Shree Vadodara District Co-Op to set up a new facility in Gujarat

Shree Vadodara District Co-Op Sugarchem Growers is planning to establish a cane juice/ molasses based ethanol distillery facility at Gandhara in Vadodara district of Gujarat.
The proposed project will have a production capacity of 45 klpd, and will also include a two MW co-generation power plant. In April 2022, the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Gujarat accorded environmental clearance (EC) for the project.
According to the updates shared with Projects Today, work on the project is anticipated to begin in Q3/FY24, with completion scheduled for October 2024.
Further, contractor and consultant are yet to be appointed.
