Jordan tenders to buy up to 120,000 metric tons wheat
Jordan’s state grain buyer has issued an international tender to buy up to 120,000 metric tons of milling wheat that canbe sourced from optional origins, European traders said on Wednesday.
The deadline for submission of price offers in the tender is Dec. 19.
Shipment in the tender, seeking hard wheat, is sought in a series of possible combinations in 50,000 to 60,000 ton consignments.
Possible shipment combinations are in 2024 between March 1-15, March 16-31, April 1-15 and April 16-30.
In its last reported wheat tender on Nov. 28, Jordan rejected all offers and made no purchase.
