Bathinda: Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has said that Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have arrived at an alliance in Delhi but were indulging in mock sparring against each other in Punjab.

Addressing a meeting of rice millers at Mansa on Sunday, Harsimrat said they (millers) were suffering because AAP government had not procured permission from the Centre for mixing fortified rice with custom milled rice

The rice millers are supposed to conduct custom milling of rice by March 31 but have yet to begin. “Such actions are responsible for the migration of Punjab industry to other states,” she claimed. She said rice millers and countless other Punjabis were suffering because instead of attending to their issues, CM Bhagwant Mann was busy ferrying his boss Arvind Kejriwal to other states. She asked Punjabis to teach both Congress and AAP a lesson in forthcoming elections, be it panchayats or Lok Sabha.

She said previous Congress government bankrupted Punjab by taking a loan of Rs 1 lakh crore and AAP government now had already borrowed Rs 60,000 crore but had nothing to show. TNN
