Zimbabwe’s food needs might escalate by May due to failed staple maize crops which have been affected by severe dry spells caused by El Nino weather patterns.
imbabwe faces one of the worst droughts since 1991. The latest report by the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWSNET) forecasts that the food and water situation will be worse in May.
