We have a good pipeline of projects for exports and expect good growth going forward: Thermax MD
Ashish Bhandari, MD & CEO, Thermax Limited, says “exports historically were a big part of Thermax. In the last couple of years, exports did not grow as much as our India business grew, but in this coming period, I have high expectations. We have a good pipeline of projects for exports as well and I expect exports to also have a good growth in the coming period.”
On biofuels segment
Ashish Bhandari: Biofuels have emerged as a very important segment. It is everything that we are looking to do in the ethanol space, 1G, 2G ethanol, some of the work around bio-CNG and related areas, that whole space has come up very fast in these last couple of years and then the power space and specifically coal-based power plants which two years ago were not in the discussion at all. In the last six months to a year, they have also come back into the discussion.
