Haryana: Farmers advised to register sugarcane crop on Meri Fasal-Mera Byora Portal
Sonipat: The Sonipat Cooperative Sugar Mill field staff conducted a survey of the sugarcane crop for the 2024-25 season, focusing only on specific varieties recommended by Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University, Hisar, as per Haryana government orders. Managing Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar emphasized the need for farmers to register their sugarcane on the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal, submitting a copy to the mill’s field staff and cane department. Non-compliant sugarcane varieties will not be surveyed or procured, reported Amar Ujala.
Sonipat: The field staff of the Sonipat Cooperative Sugar Mill has conducted a survey of the sugarcane crop for the season 2024-25. As per the orders of the Haryana government, Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University, Hisar, has recommended that only sugarcane varieties CO-89003, CO-0238, CO-0118, COH-160, CO-15023, COH-56, CO-5011, COH-119, and COH-110 will be procured. Apart from these, no survey or bunding will be done for other sugarcane varieties, reported Amar Ujala.
Managing Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar informed that farmers should get their fields surveyed according to the variety of sugarcane they have planted. He informed that all farmers who have planted sugarcane should register their sugarcane on the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal. He said that registration of the crop on the portal is mandatory. After registration, farmers should submit a copy of their registration to the mill’s field staff and the cane department.
