Kemin Industries, a global leader in ingredient manufacturing, has acquired Archangel Inc., a company founded in 2015 by Allen Ziegler that specializes in antimicrobial solutions for fermentative biofuel production. Ziegler, with over 30 years in biofuels, will join Kemin as principal sales manager in their Bio Solutions unit. This acquisition enhances Kemin’s capabilities in bacterial control within renewable energy, aligning with their mission to sustainably improve the quality of life for 80% of the world’s population.

With over 30 years of experience in biofuels, Ziegler has driven the innovation of technologies and customer service offerings to meet the unique challenges of bacterial control in biofuel production. As part of the acquisition, he will assume the role of principal sales manager within Kemin’s Bio Solutions business unit.
