The head of the Pakistan Democratic League (PDL) Rana Zaman Saeed has stated that that the government neither investigated the wheat scandal nor conducted any inquiry into the Dubai Leak.
He announced that he will approach the higher judiciary to investigate the Dubai Leaks and the wheat scandal. He stated that the purchase of cheap wheat from farmers has harmed Pakistan’s agriculture. All those involved in the Dubai Leaks, whether they are in the government or holding official positions, should be investigated because these people transfer wealth looted from the country abroad.
Transferring, their wealth abroad while inviting foreign investors to invest in Pakistan is a joke. Speaking to journalists on Sunday, Rana Zaman Saeed said that the government neither investigated the wheat scandal nor conducted any inquiry into the Dubai Leaks. It is essential to hold accountable those who have built properties in Dubai by plundering Pakistan. The court will be approached to investigate both the Dubai Leaks and the wheat scandal, and the legal community will have to come forward and play their role.
