Govt may raise sugar and ethanol prices to boost local supplies: Food Minister Chirag Paswan
In a bid to boost local supplies in the country, Food Minister Chirag Paswan on Thursday announced that India is considering raising domestic prices of ethanol and sugar.Indian sugar mills such as E.I.D.-Parry, Balrampur Chini Mills, Shree Renuka, Bajaj Hindusthan, and Dwarikesh Sugar have increased their ethanol production capacity in the last few years.
