USA : Slight Adjustments in USDA October Corn and Bean Production Forecasts.Production forecasts for the nation’s corn and soybean crops were adjusted from the previous month.
Production forecasts for the nation’s corn and soybean crops were adjusted from the previous month.
There is a mixed bag of production adjustments recorded in USDA’s October crop-production forecast. The latest projections released Friday show a less than 1% increase in corn production from the previous month, coinciding with a slight adjustment up of corn yields.
Soybean production forecast month-over-month however, were lowered slightly. Yet, both production and yields for this year’s bean crop are expected to be record highs.
