Brazil’s sugar exports hit new annual record by October
Brazil’s sugar exports reached a record 3.73 million tonnes in October 2024, marking a significant increase from the previous year. From January to October, Brazil exported 32.14 million tonnes, surpassing the 31.3 million tonnes exported in all of 2023. Major importers included India, Indonesia, Egypt, and the UAE, contributing to the growth in Brazil’s sugar exports.
