Uttar Pradesh :Avadh Sugar & Energy to increase sugarcane crushing capacity at Rosa Unit
Avadh Sugar & Energy Limited’s Board approved an expansion at its Rosa Unit to increase sugarcane crushing capacity from 5,000 to 6,500 TCD, including energy efficiency improvements. The estimated cost of ₹95.37 crores will be funded through a mix of debt and internal funds. This expansion aligns with Avadh’s long-term strategy to boost operational efficiency and meet rising market demand in the sugar, ethanol, and power sectors.
The Board of Directors of Avadh Sugar & Energy Limited at its meeting held on November 12, 2024 has inter-alia considered and approved increase in sugarcane crushing capacity with steam saving and refinery from 5000 TCD to 6500 TCD and improving energy efficiency at Rosa Unit.
The estimated cost of the expansion is approximately Rs 95.37 crores. The company informed exchanges that mode of financing will be a mix of debt & internal accurals.
