Bodhan MLA, Nizamabad : Cultivate Sugarcane As Nizam Sugars Will Reopen

Congress MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy urged farmers in Nizamabad to cultivate sugarcane, citing plans to reopen the Nizam Sugar Factory. Speaking at Renjal mandal, he highlighted Congress’ commitment to election promises, including resolving crop loan waivers and addressing irregularities by rice millers. Reddy also distributed welfare scheme cheques and emphasized electing honest candidates for better governance.

Nizamabad: Senior Congress MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy urged farmers to cultivate sugarcane on a large scale, highlighting the state government’s decision to reopen the Nizam Sugar Factory (NSF) soon. He emphasised that the state government is committed to reviving the NSF and added that the Congress government is diligently fulfilling all its election promises. On Sunday, Sudarshan Reddy laid the foundation stones for gram panchayat buildings in various thandas within Renjal mandal. Additionally, he distributed cheques for the Kalyana Laxmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes to beneficiaries at Renjal Rythu Vedika. Speaking at the event, the Bodhan MLA mentioned that technical issues had delayed the crop loan waiver for a few farmers. Further, the Congress MLA accused the previous BRS government of encouraging irregularities among rice millers. “We are streamlining the situation by setting aside the defaulter rice millers,” he stated. Reddy also appealed to the public to elect honest candidates in local body elections to ensure good governance.
