Feed wheat prices in Ukrainian ports have been falling since the beginning of the week

As of March 27, 2025, Ukraine’s feed wheat export prices have declined due to falling global wheat prices and reduced demand, with buyers anticipating further decreases. In Greater Odesa ports, prices have dropped by $4 per ton, averaging between $221 and $228 per ton CPT-port. Danube ports experienced a $6 per ton decrease, with prices ranging from $220 to $227 per ton CPT-port. Limited farmer supply is preventing a steeper decline.
Feed wheat prices on Ukraine’s export market have started to decline this week after a period of growth, according to APK-Inform.
The drop in purchasing prices is driven by falling global wheat prices, a similar trend in Ukraine’s food wheat segment, and weaker demand as buyers hold off in anticipation of further price reductions. However, limited farmer supply is preventing a steeper decline.
As of March 27, 2025, demand prices for feed wheat in Greater Odesa ports have fallen by $4 per ton on average, now ranging between $221 and $228 per ton CPT-port. At the same time, in the Danube ports, prices have dropped even more- by $6 per ton, settling between $220 and $227 per ton CPT-port.
New crop 2025 feed wheat prices are following the same pattern. So, current bids for the new harvest are mostly in the range of $199–205 per ton CPT-port, down $2–4 per ton compared to last week’s levels.
