Ukrainian grain exports almost reached 3 mln tons


As of August 18 in MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 2.98 million tons of grain and legumes—3.4 million tons less than last year, a 2.1-fold drop, the agriculture ministry reported. Wheat exports reached 1.67 million tons (down 1.8-fold), corn 0.83 million tons (down 2.6-fold), barley 0.46 million tons, while rye exports remained at zero. Flour shipments rose to 6.3 thousand tons, 1.4-times higher year-on-year.
As of August 18, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 2 million 983 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 3 million 402 thousand tons or 2.1 times less than last year.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of August 18, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 1 million 673 thousand tons, which is 1 million 416 thousand tons or 1.8 times less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 463 thousand tons, rye has not been exported abroad yet.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 835 thousand tons, which is 1 million 350 thousand tons or 2.6 times less than last year.
In addition, 6.3 thousand tons of flour (or 8.4 thousand tons in grain terms) were sent abroad, which is 2.9 thousand tons or 1.4 times more than last year.
