According to sources, India’s Bagadiya Brothers Pvt Ltd emerged as the lowest bidder, offering rice at around $359-360/t CFR Bangladesh. Bangladesh has been actively procuring rice from overseas markets in recent months to ensure food security amid tight domestic supplies and weather-related challenges.
