Ukraine : Grain export rates are 35% below last year’s levels.

Ukraine exported 9.17 million tons of grain in the 2025/26 season as of October 31, down 35% from last year. Wheat shipments fell to 6.19 million tons, barley to 1.09 million tons, and corn to 1.72 million tons, sharply lower due to reduced harvest and logistical challenges. Flour exports also declined.

As of October 31, Ukraine exported 9 million 168 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops in the 2025/26 marketing year, which is 4 million 972 thousand tons or 35.1% less than in the previous year. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Wheat exports amount to 6 million 185 thousand tons, which is 1 million 493 thousand tons or 19.4% less than last year.

Barley exports totaled 1,089,000 tons, a 35.6% decrease compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported.

Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 1 million 722 thousand tons, which is 2 million 772 thousand tons or 61.6% less than last year.

In addition, 21.3 thousand tons of flour (or 28.4 thousand tons in terms of grain) were shipped abroad, which is 3.8 thousand tons or 15.1% less than last year.
