Ukrainian grain exports almost reached 18.5 mln tons
Ukraine’s grain exports in MY 2025/26 reached 18.43 MMT by January 28, down 27.8% year-on-year. Wheat exports fell 21.1% to 8.39 MMT, barley declined 35.4%, and corn dropped 31.6%. Flour exports also decreased by 13.1%.
As of January 28, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 18 million 425 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 7 million 091 thousand tons or 27.8% less than last year. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of January 28, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 8 million 390 thousand tons, which is 2 million 354 thousand tons or 21.1% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 333 thousand tons – 35.4% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 8 million 404 thousand tons, which is 3 million 880 thousand tons or 31.6% less than last year.
In addition, 37.8 thousand tons of flour (or 50.4 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 5.7 thousand tons or 13.1% less than last year.
