Ukraine exports 26 mln tons of grain
Ukraine’s grain exports in MY 2025/26 fell nearly 20% to 26.06 MMT, reflecting weaker global shipments. Wheat exports declined 22.9%, barley dropped 36.4%, and corn fell 15.4%, while flour exports also edged lower. The slowdown highlights tightening supply flows and shifting global trade dynamics.
As of April 1, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 26 million 058 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 6 million 492 thousand tons or 19.9% less than last year.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of April 1, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 10 million 017 thousand tons, which is 2 million 983 thousand tons or 22.9% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 404 thousand tons – 36.4% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 14 million 257 thousand tons, which is 2 million 596 thousand tons or 15.4% less than last year.
In addition, 49.8 thousand tons of flour (or 66.4 thousand tons in grain terms) were sent abroad, which is 3.5 thousand tons or 6.5% less than last year.
