Upward price trend persists in the Ukrainian corn market
Ukrainian feed corn prices continued to rise last week, supported by strong export demand, active domestic buying, and limited farmer selling. Tight supply and firm market conditions pushed prices higher in both inland markets and export ports, especially in southern regions.
According to APK-Inform, an upward price trend persisted in the Ukrainian feed corn market last week.
“The situation on the export market, active demand from traders and domestic consumers, and an insufficient supply of grain due to farmers holding back sales continued to support prices,” experts noted.
Bid prices for feed corn during the week were mostly recorded within UAH 9,400-10,200 per ton and reached UAH 11,100 per ton CPT, which was typical for southern Ukraine.
In Ukrainian ports, corn prices ranged within $218-226 per ton CPT port.
