Wheat prices in Ukraine decline sharply – APK-Inform
Ukraine’s wheat prices fell sharply this week, with food wheat and feed wheat declining by UAH 1,000–2,100 per tonne. The drop was driven by weaker export demand and trading activity following continued attacks on Black Sea port infrastructure, alongside increased supplies from the ongoing wheat harvest.
According to APK-Inform, wheat prices in Ukraine have fallen sharply this week.
The decline has been driven by a significant drop in prices and trading activity on the export market due to continued attacks on Black Sea port infrastructure, as well as the ongoing harvest campaign in the country.
Since the beginning of the week, prices for food wheat and feed wheat have fallen by UAH 1,000-2,100 per ton. As of July 24, they were mostly quoted at UAH 8,000-9,500 per ton CPT and UAH 6,500-9,000 per ton CPT, respectively.
