Morning Market Update – 15/10/2026
Sugar prices declined in both London and New York, with raw sugar falling 0.27 points and white sugar dropping 7.00 points. Corn and Chicago ethanol also weakened, while Brent crude fell by $1.04 per barrel. Indian equity markets ended lower, with the Sensex down 251.89 points and the NIFTY 50 declining 99.25 points. The USD/INR rate rose by 0.089, while USD/BRL remained unchanged.
