Sugarcane Price Control Committee: Sugarcane Price Control Committee has been established by the Shinde Fadnavis government excluding the farmers’ leaders who are struggling to get the sugarcane price of the farmers across the state . Karmayogi Sudhakarpant Paricharak Cooperative Sugar Factory Director Prashant Paricharak, Padmashri Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Cooperative Sugar Factory Director Kailas Tambe, Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Sugar Industry Director Damodar Navpute, Manas Agro Industry Director Anandrao Raut as representatives of private sugar factories are also included.
The government betrayed by appointing a weak committee
Meanwhile, Raju Shetty has fired at the Shinde Fadnavis government over this decision. He said that we had to give warnings and protest for sugarcane rate control committee for a whole year. As this committee does not have the ability to pay more than the FRP for broken cane last year, the final bills of the previous year have not been received. There was no accounting committee. Even this year, the sugarcane money is left with many factories by paying FRP. Sugar has a price, ethanol has a price.
