Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of wheat


Algeria’s state grain agency OAIC will tender on September 23 for at least 50,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, according to Reuters. Bids remain valid until September 24. Shipments are set for November 1–30 for European or Black Sea wheat, and through December for South American or Australian origins.
On September 23, the Algerian state-owned company OAIC will hold a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, Reuters reports.
Bids from bidders will be valid until September 24.
Under the tender terms, the wheat will be shipped from November 1-15 and November 16-30 if it is of European or Black Sea origin. For wheat from South America or Australia, the deadline will be extended by one month.
