Algeria issues international wheat tender
Algeria’s state buyer OAIC has issued a tender to purchase at least 50,000 tonnes of milling wheat for delivery to Mostaganem and Tenes ports. Bids close on March 11, with shipments scheduled from April to June, while supplies from South America or Australia will have an additional month for delivery.
Algerian state-owned company OAIC has announced a tender for the purchase of at least 50,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin, for delivery to the ports of Mostaganem and Tenes, Reuters reports.
Bids for the tender will close on March 11. Shipments will take place during the following periods: April 1-15, April 16-30, May 1-15, May 16-31, June 1-15, and June 16-30. For shipments from South America or Australia, the deadline is extended by one month.
