Almost 12 mln tons of Ukrainian grain were exported

Ukraine has exported 11.9 mln tons of grains and legumes so far in 2025/26, down 34% from last season. Wheat exports reached 7.2 mln tons, barley 1.16 mln tons, and corn 3.3 mln tons, all sharply lower. Flour exports also fell to 25.8 thousand tons.

The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in the 2025/26 MY as of November 28 amounted to 11.9 million tons, which is 6.1 million tons, or 34% less than the previous season.

This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.

Thus, 7.2 million tons of wheat were exported. This is 1.6 million tons, or 18% less than last year’s volumes.

Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to over 1.16 million tons. The decrease compared to the same date last season is 37%.

Rye was exported in the amount of 0.2 thousand tons, which is ten times less than last year’s 10.8 thousand tons.

Corn was exported in the amount of 3.3 million tons, which is half the shipments of last season.

Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 25.8 thousand tons, which is 18% less than last year’s figure.

For reference: in the 2024/25 MY, exports of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
