Ankita Patil: ‘Ashti Sugar’ factory is allowed to process 750 metric tons of sugarcane sludge per day.
Mohol – Ashti, Ankita Patil, president of the factory, informed that the sugar factory ‘Ashti Sugar’ at Mohol has recently approved for 7.5 thousand metric tons of sugarcane per day, and the factory has set a target of 5.5 lakh metric tons of sugarcane during the current sugaring season. Due to this, sugarcane of the farmers will be filtered in time.
In this regard, according to the information given by the general manager of the factory, Sanjeev Gurav, the Ashti Sugar factory was previously crushing two and a half thousand metric tons of sugarcane per day. Availability of sugarcane has been increased due to timely delivery of sugarcane FRP, accurate weighing fork to the farmers.
Therefore, the factory had sought permission from the government for more filtration. It has been approved. At present, ten megawatt power generation project is operational in the factory, and the factory will soon take up the Asavani project.
The factory is ready for the current fall season, and the factory has recorded twelve and a half thousand hectares of sugarcane for the current fall season. The factory has contracted 225 tractors, 175 mini tractors, 325 bullock carts for transportation of sugarcane. An advance amount has also been allocated to sugarcane harvesting system.
A farmers’ meeting will be organized to find out how to increase the production of sugarcane per acre rather than how much sugarcane is brought to the factory, and expert scientists will guide it. Meanwhile, some citizens have spread rumors that the factory has been sold, Gurav said that there is no truth in it.
General Manager Gurav along with Chief Accountant Tukaram Devkate, Chief Engineer Deepak Kalsait, Chief Chemist Ramchandra Samudre, Agriculture Officer Deepak Khatke were present.
