Atthah Petrochem awaits financial closure to set up grain-based distillery unit in Rajasthan


Atthah Petrochem, a Jaipur-based company, plans to set up a grain-based distillery unit to produce ethanol at Nagdala in the Banswara district of Rajasthan, reports Projects Today. The company is awaiting financial closure to set up a unit.
The proposed unit spread over 18.20 acres of land plans to produce 200 KLPD ethanol along with a 4.8 MW co-generation power plant. The company received the project’s environmental clearance (EC) from MoEF&CC in September 2022.
The company will likely start work on the project by mid-2023 and complete it by Q4/2024.
