Bargarh MP Pujari slams Odisha Govt for closure of 2G Ethanol plant
Bhubaneswar, June 19: Bargarh BJP MP Suresh Pujari has slammed the Odisha government for the ‘sudden’ closure of the under-construction 2G Bio-Refinery Ethanol plant in Bargarh district, a day after the progress of the project was reviewed by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Pujari taking to his Twitter alleged that the project has been closed under threat and cohesion.
“A day after the review of the progress of the 2G Bio-refinery #Ethinol plant of the BPCLimited at Bargarh by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan & his advice to make it ready by December & hopefully dedicated to the nation by PM Narendra Modi, the work has been stopped, allegedly under threat & cohesion,” tweeted the Bargarh MP.
He too requested the Chief Minister to ensure the resumption of the construction work.
“Request Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to intervene & facilitate uninterrupted construction work & ensure its completion which will enhance the economy of the farmers of Bargarh and contribute to the cause of Odisha, otherwise the ambitious project will die before its birth,” noted Pujari.
He to advised the Collector, SP, and the DGP to provide all required support.
“Request Collector & DM, Bargarh, SP, Bargarh, DGP Odisha, Mo Sarkar 5T, and Cheif Secretary to kindly intervene & cause inquiry and resolve the issue as early as possible,” tweeted the MP.
He also urged Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Sing Puri to take serious note of the happenings & act.
