BCL Industries Limited, along with its subsidiary Svaksha Distillery Limited, has been awarded an additional order for the supply of 23,054 kiloliters (KL) of ethanol to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). This comes as part of a tender floated in January 2025 for ethanol supply across various locations in India. The total value of the order stands at ₹134.87 crore, with the ethanol being sourced from FCI rice.
The breakdown of the order is as follows:
- BCL Industries Limited: 14,302 KL of ethanol, valued at ₹83.67 crore, utilizing 31,750 metric tons (MT) of FCI rice.
- Svaksha Distillery Limited: 8,752 KL of ethanol, valued at ₹51.20 crore, utilizing 19,429 MT of FCI rice.
This new allocation adds to the existing order of 182,485 KL of ethanol, which the group received in October 2024. The company’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for ethanol supplies in the country positions it as a key player in the sector.
This order update provides essential business information to stakeholders and the public at large, reflecting BCL Industries’ expanding footprint in the ethanol supply chain.
