Bengaluru: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited in its first quarter of 2024-25 has reported market sales of 13.16 million metric tonnes. This is 3.22 per cent higher than the 12.75 MMT for the first quarter reported in the financial year 2023-24.
The company posted growth in market sales but a sharp fall in net profit over the same quarter last year.
The company posted operational revenue at Rs 1,28,103.36 crores for the quarter, which was a tad lower than the Rs 1,28,256.65 crores in the same period last year.
The net profit for the April-June 2024 quarter was down to Rs 3,014.77 crores from Rs 10,550.88 crores in the same period a year ago, even as sales rose.
