Brazilian ethanol producer Raizen halts operations at Santa Elisa plant

SAO PAULO, Aug 23 (Reuters) -Brazilian ethanol producer Raizen RAIZ4.SA said in a statement on Friday that industrial operations at its Santa Elisa plant, near the city of Sertaozinho, in Sao Paulo state, have been halted since Thursday due to a fire in a nearby sugarcane field.
