Cambodia exports over 420,000 tonnes of milled rice worth $309 million in first 7 months of 2025

Cambodia exported 420,572 tonnes of milled rice worth \$309.32 million in the first seven months of 2025, mainly to Europe, China, ASEAN, and other global markets. Fragrant rice dominated exports. Additionally, 3.87 million tonnes of paddy rice were traded across borders, valued at approximately \$914 million.

In the first seven months of 2025, Cambodia exported 420,572 tonnes of milled rice, valued at approximately $309.32 million, according to the Cambodian Rice Federation (CRF).

51 exporters shipped around 421,000 tonnes of milled rice to 65 destinations, according to the CRF.
The main export destinations included: 26 European countries with 200,772 tonnes valued at approximately $157 million; China and its autonomous regions with around 106,000 tonnes valued at about $62 million; 7 ASEAN countries with roughly 57,000 tonnes valued at approximately $40 million; and 32 other countries across Africa, the Middle East, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and others with 57,000 tonnes valued at $50.13 million.

The source said that the exported milled rice varieties consisted of 77.65% fragrant rice, followed by 15.61% white rice, 3.27% parboiled rice, 2.61% organic rice, and 0.86% others.

In addition to milled rice, Cambodia also exported 3,873,078 tonnes of border-traded paddy rice, valued at around $914.000 million.
