CM to inaugurate ethanol plant in Gkp soon

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is expected to inaugurate a ₹1,200 crore ethanol plant under the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) in April. Developed by Keyaan Distilleries, the facility will produce ethanol, extra neutral alcohol, rectified spirit, and more, boosting economic growth and job creation in the region.

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to inaugurate Rs 1,200 crore ethanol plant under Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) soon, said an official spokesperson at Invest UP on Wednesday.

“GIDA, in collaboration with Invest UP, has emerged as a catalyst for economic growth and job creation in recent years. Numerous companies have established their units in the GIDA region, and among them, the leading ethanol production facility, Keyaan Distilleries Private Limited, is set to begin its production soon. CM is expected to inaugurate this facility in April,” the spokesperson said.

Sharing details about the company, the official said: “As a leading manufacturer of ethanol, extra neutral alcohol, rectified spirit, DDGS, carbon dioxide, country liquor, Indian-made foreign liquor, impure spirit, and associated chemicals, the company committed an investment of Rs 1,200 Cr under this agreement with GIDA.”
