District Cane Officer conducts surprise inspection of ongoing sugarcane survey
Meerut: District Cane Officer Dr. Dushyant Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing sugarcane survey in Bhalsona village on Monday. He found that farmer Veer Singh’s sugarcane field area was 5.5% less than recorded, reprimanding the survey team to correct the records. Farmers were informed about top borer pest control measures. The Daurala Cane Committee secretary and Daurala Mill assistant manager were present.
Meerut: District Cane Officer Dr. Dushyant Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing sugarcane survey in the village of Bhalsona within the Cane Development Council and Daurala Sugar Mill area, on Monday.
During the inspection, it was found that the sugarcane field area of farmer Veer Singh was 5.5% less than recorded. Dr. Dushyant Kumar reprimanded the survey team and instructed them to correct the records.
Farmers present at the site were informed about the control measures for the top borer pest in sugarcane.
The secretary of the Daurala Cane Committee and the assistant manager of the Daurala Mill were also present during this inspection.
