Edible oil refinery opens in Kazakhstan
Mayor Nurbol Nursagatov inaugurated the Agro Oil Group refinery in Semey, highlighting its role in boosting the region’s manufacturing, exports, and job creation. The refinery aims to meet local demand and supply products across Kazakhstan, employing 50 locals initially. The mayor emphasized that such enterprises enhance Semey’s industrial potential and investment appeal.
Mayor Nurbol Nursagatov took part in the opening ceremony and congratulated the Agro Oil Group company on the launch of the refinery of great significance for the city.
The refinery is expected to boost the region’s manufacturing sector, increase its export potential and create new workplaces. 50 locals obtained jobs at the plant as of now.
The new refinery is called to meet local demand and supply raw materials and end products throughout Kazakhstan.
The mayor said such enterprises show the growing investment attractiveness of Semey and raise its industrial potential.
