Ethanol production hits 9-week high at 1.04M barrels per day
In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production reached 1.04 million barrels per day last week, the highest in nine weeks that helped to rebuild stocks to 21.398 million gallons after hitting a two-year low the week before. Even with the higher stocks, volumes were 893,000 barrels below last year’s levels. Ethanol exports fell again last week to an average of 65,000 barrels a day, the lowest in 15 weeks.
