EU 2024/25 soft wheat exports at 3.55 mln T by Aug. 18
Aug 20 (Reuters) -Soft wheat exports from the European Union since the start of the 2024/25 season in July reached 3.55 million metric tons by Aug. 18, compared with 4.53 million a year earlier, data published by the European Commission showed on Tuesday.
EU barley exports totalled 1.15 million tons, against 1.71 million tons in the corresponding period in 2023/24, while EU maize imports were at 2.91 million tons, against a year-earlier 2.28 million.
However, the Commission said grain export data for France have not been complete since the start of calendar year 2024.
