Russia has lowered its wheat export duty to RUB 97.3 per ton from January 12–13, 2026, an 11% drop from the previous rate. Barley and corn duties remain zero. The adjustment reflects slight changes in indicative global prices, with updated rates for January 14–20 set to be announced on December 30.

The export duty rate on wheat from Russia will be RUB 97.3 per ton from January 12, 2026, which is almost 11% lower than the rate in effect until January 11 (RUB 109.1 per ton), according to data from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

Duties on barley and corn will remain at zero from the same date.

The rates were calculated based on the following indicative prices: $228.4 per ton for wheat ($227.9 in the previous period), $219.3 for barley ($219.2), and $200.9 for corn ($202).

The ministry specified that the new rates will be valid for only two days (January 12-13), and updated rates for the period January 14-20 will be published on December 30.
