Godavari Biorefineries achieves record 2.5 MT crushing in 2025–26

Godavari Biorefineries Limited achieved record cane crushing of 2.5 million tonnes in the 2025–26 season at its Sameerwadi unit, marking steady growth in capacity and operations, and highlighting strong performance in India’s sugar and bio-refinery sector.

Godavari Biorefineries Limited has announced record sugarcane crushing of 2.5 million tonnes in a single season for the 2025-26 crushing season, according to an exchange filing dated April 5.

The company informed the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE that its Sameerwadi unit crushed 2.5 million tonnes during the current crushing session (2025–26) – the highest ever in the company’s history for one crushing period.

The crushing session is scheduled to conclude on April 7, 2026.

The company had crushed 2.3 million tonnes of cane in 2023-24 season and 2.1 million tonnes in 2022-23 season indicating steady rise in the operations and capacity.

Shares of Godavari Biorefineries trade under the symbol GODAVARIB on NSE and scrip code 544279 on BSE.

The development underscores a strong operational performance for the sugar and bio-refinery company in the ongoing season.
