Grain exports from Ukraine exceeded 14.5 mln tons
Ukraine’s grain and legume exports for MY 2025/26 reached 14.502 million tons as of December 24, down 31.7 percent from last year. Wheat shipments fell 20 percent, barley nearly 38 percent, and corn almost 43 percent. Flour exports also declined by 11.6 percent compared to the previous season.
As of December 24, in the 2025/26 MY, Ukraine exported 14 million 502 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 6 million 754 thousand tons or 31.7% less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of December 24, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 7 million 691 thousand tons, which is 1 million 922 thousand tons or 20% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 223 thousand tons – 37.8% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 5 million 339 thousand tons, which is 4 million 012 thousand tons or 42.9% less than last year.
In addition, 32.7 thousand tons of flour (or 43.6 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 4.3 thousand tons or 11.6% less than last year.
