Gujarat Ambuja Exports begins commercial production at its Greenfield 1200 TPD Maize Processing Unit in Uttarakhand

Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd. has begun commercial production at its 1200 TPD Greenfield Maize Processing Unit in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand. This boosts the company’s total maize processing capacity to 5200 TPD, with a target of 6000 TPD by 2026. The Sitarganj facility now holds India’s largest maize processing capacity, strengthening its market position.

Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited has commenced commercial production at its Greenfield 1200 TPD Maize Processing Unit in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand, marking a key milestone for the company. The unit began operations at approximately 9:30 a.m. today, further strengthening the company’s production capabilities.

According to the company, this achievement represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance our production capacity, with a target to reach 6000 TPD by 2026. With this development, the Sitarganj facility now stands as the largest Maize Processing Unit in India, featuring an installed crushing capacity of 1950 TPD, Native Starch Capacity of 800TPD and value-added starch derivatives capacity of 550 TPD.

Following the commencement of commercial production at the 1200 TPD Maize Processing Unit at Sitarganj, the Company’s consolidated installed maize processing capacity has now increased to 5200 TPD.

This new development is expected to not only increase the company’s production capacity but also boost its position in the competitive maize processing market.
