Big announcements for farmers
Chief Minister Nayab Saini said that everyone knows that direct sowing of paddy requires less water. To promote such sowing of paddy, the government is currently giving a subsidy of Rs 4 thousand per acre to the farmers, but now this amount is being increased by Rs 500. That is, now farmers will get a subsidy of Rs 4,500 per acre.
The Chief Minister said that natural farming is being done in 25 thousand acres at this time, it will be increased to Rs 1 lakh. Our government used to give a subsidy of 25 thousand rupees on the purchase of a native cow, but now this amount is being increased by 5 thousand rupees. That is, now it has been announced to give 30 thousand rupees.
Subsidy on sugarcane harvesting machine
It has been proposed to increase the subsidy to the farmer who manages paddy straw from Rs 1,000 per acre to Rs 1,200 per acre. The government has proposed in this budget to give subsidy on harvester for harvesting sugarcane with a machine. Apart from this, seed testing labs will be set up in all the districts of the state.
The government has proposed in the budget to set up 3 new centers of excellence for litchi, strawberry and date palm in Ambala, Yamunanagar and Hisar respectively in 2025-26. Horticulture Research Center will be established in Palwal district. The government has proposed in the budget to implement the Horticulture Mission in all 22 districts of the state.
Big gift to women
Under the horticulture policy, the Haryana government will not charge any interest on a loan of Rs 1 lakh to women gardeners. A provision for this will be made in the budget under this policy.
