Home Minister vows to support sugarcane farmers affected by factory closures in Vizianagaram district

Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha assured support for sugarcane farmers in Vizianagaram, where many have stopped cultivation following the shutdown of sugar mills. At a district review meeting, officials highlighted the drop in sugarcane farming due to limited crushing options. The Minister pledged to address farmers’ concerns and revive agricultural prospects in the region.

As the in-charge Minister of the district, she reviewed developmental activities in a meeting organised in the Vizianagaram Collector’s office.
