ICAR-IISR, Lucknow conferred with the Agriculture Leadership Award-2024
ICAR-Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research, Lucknow received the prestigious ‘Agriculture Leadership Award-2024’ for its outstanding research work in sugarcane, impacting millions of farmers and rural people. The award was presented by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the 15th Agriculture Leadership Conclave-2024 in New Delhi. The event was graced by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Agriculture Minister Dhanjay Munde, former Chief Justice P. Sathasivam, and Dr. M.J. Khan. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar received the award on behalf of ICAR-IISR Director.

The award was presented by Shri. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare in the gracious presence of Shri. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri. Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. Dhanjay Munde, Agriculture Minister of Maharashtra, Shri. Justice P. Sathasivam, Former Chief Justice of India, & Former Governor of Kerala, and Dr. M.J. Khan, President, Agriculture Today Group and Chairman, ICFA.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, PS and Head, Division of Crop Improvement received the award on behalf of the Director, ICAR-IISR, Lucknow.
