Important news! Register soon on the portal for wheat purchase in Haryana… only 11 days are left

With just 11 days left for wheat procurement in Haryana, the Department of Agriculture has ramped up efforts to register farmers on the Meri Fasal, Mera Byora (MFMB) portal. As of March 20, over 10.8 lakh farmers have registered 62.8 lakh acres of land, including 44.22 lakh acres of wheat. Registration camps and door-to-door outreach have been increased to speed up the process.

Haryana Desk: Now only 11 days are left for the start of wheat procurement in Haryana, in such a situation, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has intensified efforts to register farmers on the Meri Fasal, Mera Byora (MFMB) portal. To speed up the registration process, the department has increased the number of registration camps. Apart from this, the people of the department have started door-to-door contact programs.
 
According to the data, till March 20, a total of 10,83,448 farmers have registered 62,80,694 acres of agricultural land on the Meri Fasal, Mera Byora portal, in which the details of crop-wise registration are as follows: wheat (44.22 lakh acres), mustard (16.78 lakh acres), gram (26,429 acres), barley (19,368 acres), sugarcane (10,362 acres) and other crops on the remaining land.


District-wise, Sirsa tops the list with 7.54 lakh acres of registered land, followed by Hisar (5.74 lakh acres), Bhiwani (5.63 lakh acres), Fatehabad (4.17 lakh acres), Karnal (4.11 lakh acres), Kaithal and Jind (3.66 lakh acres each). For wheat alone, 44.22 lakh acres have been registered, with Sirsa (5.62 lakh acres), Hisar (4 lakh acres), Karnal (3.89 lakh acres) and Fatehabad (3.79 lakh acres) leading the pack. The least wheat registrations have been in Faridabad (32,503 acres) and Panchkula (26,400 acres).
