India Glycols secures Rs. 1,264 crore ethanol supply order from OMCs, Reliance, and Nayara in ESY 2024-25


India Glycols Limited has secured contracts to supply 18.06 crore liters of ethanol worth Rs. 1,264.20 crore under the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme (EBPP) for ESY 2024-25. The ethanol, sourced from Damaged Food Grains and Surplus FCI Rice, will be supplied to OMCs like BPCL, IOCL, and private oil firms, with additional allocations expected.
India Glycols Limited has been allocated quantities through tender participation for the supply of 18.06 crore liters of ethanol, with an estimated value totaling Rs. 1,264.20 crore under the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme (EBPP) for the Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025, according to the company.
Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) such as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, along with oil companies like Reliance Industries Ltd. and Nayara Energy Limited, have awarded contracts.
The company has been allocated quantities for the supply of ethanol produced from Damaged Food Grains (DFG) and Surplus FCI Rice, sourced from its plants in Kashipur and Gorakhpur, under the EBPP during ESY 2024-25.
OMCs have awarded contracts for 17.53 crore liters ethanol worth Rs. 1,227.10 crore, while oil companies have placed orders for 0.53 crore liters ethanol valued at Rs. 37.10 crore.
According to the company, additional tender allocation shall be released separately by
OMCs for ESY 2024-25.
