India’s palm oil imports rise 5% in November, says SEA
India’s November palm oil imports rose 5% to 632,341 tonnes, while soyoil and sunflower oil imports fell sharply, dropping 18% and 45% respectively. The decline reflects changing domestic demand and supply dynamics, according to the Solvent Extractors’ Association of India, highlighting shifts in the edible oils market amid price and availability factors.
