Jordan purchased 60 thsd tons of wheat


On June 17, Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade purchased 60,000 tons of milling wheat at $254.9 C&F from CHS for September shipment. Competing bids ranged from $256.66 to $274 per ton. On June 17, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of milling wheat of any origin. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
60 thousand tons of wheat were purchased at $254.9 C&F from CHS with shipment from September 1 to 15, 2025.
The following also took part in the tender:
- Cargill, which offered wheat at $256.66 per ton
- Al Dahra – $274 per ton
- Ameropa – $269.35 per ton
- Buildcom – $268.77 per ton
- Agrocorp – $271.48 per ton
The next tender for the purchase of 120 thousand tons of milling wheat of any origin will be held on June 24. Shipment is scheduled for October-November.
