Jordan received bids from 8 companies in a wheat procurement tender
Jordan’s state buyer received bids from eight trading companies, including Cargill, CHS, Viterra, and Al Dahra, in an international tender for 120,000 tonnes of wheat. The grain will be delivered in 60,000-tonne batches in October-November. Notably, Jordan had rejected all offers at a previous tender on August 20, making no purchases.
According to market operators, Jordan’s state buyer received bids from 8 trading companies in an international tender for the purchase of 120,000 tonnes of wheat.
In particular, Cargill, CHS, Viterra, Al Dahra, Ameropa, The Andersons, Aston and Solaris became participants of the tender.
It should be noted that under the terms of the tender grain is expected to be delivered to the importer in batches of 60 thousand tonnes in October-November this year.
At the previous tender (20 August) Jordan rejected all grain offers and did not make purchases.
